The SU-85 was a Soviet self-propelled gun used during World War II. Its construction was based on the chassis of the T-34 medium tank. The designation ‘85’ signifies the vehicle’s armament – anti-aircraft gun, the 85mm D-5S gun, characterized by a high rate of fire.
